Wesak Day 2011, Preparing Veg Dinner

We celebrate Wesak day every year. Wesak day, formally called as Vesākha, sometimes been known as Buddha's Birthday is a public holiday for South East Asia country. This is a big day representing Buddha's birthday, enlightenment and nirvana.

Wesak day 2011, I joined the cooking team, helping them to prepare veg dinner for all the volunteers who help out in celebrating Wesak day.

1. We do it at one of the chef's house.

2. Cooking to servers hundreds of people was not an easy job.

3. Besides cooking, we must take care of the cleanliness of the house too.

4. The kitchen is too small, the chef usually do it at the backstreet.

5. The back door connecting the kitchen and the backstreet.

6. This old lady's role is the consultant for the chef, she was a chef during her days too.

7. The backstreet is peaceful.

8. It was a good cooking classes too, where we do observed the cooking process.

9. The table is still too small to contain everything.

10. Connecting a pipe supplying water from the kitchen, so that some clearing work can be done at backstreet.
